Coffee is an important part in the American diet. Morning, night and noon you can find people drinking and brewing down cup after cup. The hot, inviting drink has been a mainstay in USA culture since its inception. Anyway, new research is presenting that perhaps warm-brewed coffee is not our top bet. Coffee contains many antioxidants, photochemical, and other nutrients that research has presented as beneficial to our bodies. But unluckily, drinking coffee can sometimes lead to acid reflux or similar problems. Luckily, some study has presented you can still have your regular coffee if you brew it chill. Coffee brewed hot is far more acidic than chill-brewed, according to a number of scientific studies, and some say chill-brewed coffee even has a sweeter flavor because of its lower acidity. In general, your body needs a delicate balance (pH) of alkalinity and acidity to work and heal. The human body flourishes with a superior rank of alkalinity than acidity, and the drinks and foods we consume decide, in part, our pH points. When you drink top-acidity coffee your pH level becomes disturbed, often making worry for the consumer.
If drinking warm coffee leads such problems for you, try switching to chill-brewed. The advantages will still be present, but hopefully the discomfort would not. If you really favor hot coffee, simply brew it cold and powerful, and mix in warm water before you drink it. Making this little charge in your routine could mean the difference between feeling better and feeling bad. The process of making chill-brewed coffee is easy: Steep ground coffee in water using a coffee filter, nut milk bag or cheese cloth. While steeping, store in a room temperature or chiller setting, soaking for twelve hours or more. Cold-brewed coffee does not go stale as fast as warm-brewed, so feel free to make a large batch and enjoy the ease of new morning coffee. Cold brew coffee has been known to have sixty-seven percent less acid overall as match to warm brewed coffee, which is an important difference. This is due to the low extraction temperature that chill brew coffee utilizes, and conversely warm brewed coffee encourages the removal of acidic substances. Chlorogenic acid, while technically being an acid, is still best for your health and should not be rejected just because it is not fully alkaline. Finally, cold brew coffee can be considered a healthier substitute to warm brewed coffee. While some people may favor the taste and warm feeling of coffee, health alert individuals can compromise on chill brew coffee.
